About Jon

Jon Ouellette is a fourth year journalism major with a psychology minor at the University of Maine, and is on track to graduate in May despite switching majors midway through his sophomore year. Jon is excited to be working on Bangor2020 in an editorial/managerial role, and has been aided in that capacity thanks to his job as the Sports Editor of the university newspaper, The Maine Campus. Jon has many interests, but plans to use his degree to get into the PR or media relations fields after college, preferably in the fields of sports or music. He also has plans to coach athletics one day. Jon has interned for U.S. Senator Susan Collins in her Washington, D.C. office and the Bangor Daily News Sports Desk, freelanced for the BDN, contributed for, and broadcasted basketball games for WMEB Sports.
